Student Responsibilities

 

Homework:

Students will be expected to complete "HomeFun" (homework) that is sent home. Homework is sent home every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. We expect it to be done, checked over, and returned the next day.

Orange Folder:

 Students will need to bring their orange folder to school. Math HomeFun will be sent home in these along with Spelling Lists to practice, A.R. (Accelerated Reader) books to read, and math facts to practice. 

 

Helping Hands:

Every week we have a group of students that are assigned jobs for the week. These students will help us with tasks around the room such as:

1. Messenger (Classroom Bag Runner)

2. Lunch Helper

3. Pledge Leader

4. Line Leader

5. Door Holder

6. Teacher Helper

7. Etc...

Be a Bucket Filler:

At the beginning of the year books are read to students and the children participate activities about what it means to be a bucket filler.
